Lately my days at work seem to be getting longer and less enjoyable... which is more the reason for a little "NYC Hustle and Bustle detox" better know as an evening spent with a dear friend noshing on macaron's (not to be confused with macaroons) and sipping on espresso. What better place for said evening to take place that MacarOn Cafe NYC located on 36th and 7th Ave. What a delightful place. I had never been there before but will for sure be back again. Upon walking in the staff was very friendly and attentive, while I pondered over which delish flavor to choose, I was in aw watching one of the pastry chefs hand-making a batch of macaron's. In the end I went with vanilla, grapefruit and raspberry while my friend choice pistachio, passion fruit and caramel. One word...YUM!!! Overall the cafe was a nice little spot, the decor wasn't 100% but I liked where they were going with it and the macaron's were amazing.Where are some places you like to go for a little detox from the stresses of daily life?
