Originally a jewelry designer, Laurel Smith is the face behind Laurel Denise featured on Etsy. I came across her fabulous new screen prints over on AphroChic (take a moment to check out this San Francisco based blog if you can) and knew right away that I had to re-post. Each print features a inspiration quote from Laurel's most popular styles from her jewelry collection. The quotes featured are so very "FWD" (fairytale wishes & dreams) and so very lovely. Who wouldn't love to have one of these hung on their wall? I personally would love the "Cinderella" one, go figure...

Happy Mothers Day!

I believe I owe my night owl tendencies to my dear mother. I can remember many nights staying up late and curling up at the foot of my mothers bed, falling asleep while watching The Golden Girls. I love my mom more than anything is this world. She has raised three amazing, kids on her own, always putting there needs, wants and desires before her own. She is my rock, my support system, my best friend and my number one fan. I can never thank her enough for all that she has done for me in my life. She is a special gift, one that I can never truly express how much I appreciate.

Why, don't you know? They're twitterpated!!!

A dear friend of mine Crystal reminded me about the joys of being twitterpated last night... and I thought I would share with you exactly what that means. Such a cute reminder of the innocents of falling in love! Although Bambi, Thumper and Flower say "its not gonna happen to me" soon after this clip below, they all find themselves twitterpated... and I don't think they mind so much after all. =)
